Scented Notebooks with Perfume Paper
As part of this year’s EBGE Awards and the Design Days events, Creative Director Yiannis Karlopoulos (Karlopoulos&Associates και LiFO) and Creative Director Nikos Georgopoulos (Marlon Tate) gave an open talk titled “Creative Directors on Creative Directors”, exploring what it means to be a creator and to think creatively in today’s world. On this occasion, Perrakis Papers, Marlon Tate, and the fragrance house The Things Past collaborated to create a premium limited-edition set of scented notebooks, exploring two creative states in time: the talented and ambitious emerging creator, and the wise, experienced veteran. Two fragrances. Two numbered editions of 150 copies each. One creative experiment where memory, design, and experience come together within an 8×12 cm notebook. The notebooks are printed on the world’s first paper featuring sensory lock technology - a perfume paper that preserves and releases fragrance for up to 8 hours. When an intangible scent becomes “locked” into paper, the boundaries between touch, memory, and creative experience begin to disappear. How many senses can ultimately fit inside an 8×12 cm notebook?
